Knit a speckled eyelet scarf with The Loop, Halifax
Speckled Eyelet Scarf
This pattern is a great way to stretch a single skein of Aran to bulky weight yarn as far it will go. It is particularly suited to handspun. The big eyelet stitch looks good in variegated colours, but is striking in solids too.
Blocked measurements: approximately 8cm x 175cm
Skill level: easy
Abbreviations used: k = knit; p= purl; k2tog = knit two together;
yo = yarn over (see note)
Note: to work “yo twice”, bring yarn towards the front of the work between the needles, to the back over the right hand needle, forward between the needles again and back again over the right needle before working the next stitch.
