Winter snowman made mostly out of household items.
I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet, but I LOVE winter and I just had to make this little fella.

  • How to make a snowman ornament. Snowman Decoration - Step 1
    Step 1

Glue the small styrofoam ball on top of the large styrofoam ball. You might want to cut a little bit of the edge so it's flat when you glue the pieces together.
I only had one big styrofoam ball so I cut it in half and carve a small and large one. It turned out okay.

Find two twigs outside and shove them in the large part of the snowman. You can add a little bit of glue if you like.

Cut your toothpick in half, and color it orange with a pen. You can also paint it.

Shape a top hat out of black clay.
I only had green clay, so I colored it black with a pen.
Sorry the photo is cropped weird.
Glue the hat to the top of the snowman.

Cut a piece of felt into a long strip and cut the edges like so.
You can add a pattern to it if you like.

Tie it around the snowman's neck, and you're finished!
Isn't he cute? You can put a name on his belly and use it as a name tag for a dinner table, or just keep him on your desk.
