• 

  Step 1

  Here are the supplies you will need to make your snow globe, unlike a conventional model ours will not contain any resin/water,it makes it quick to make but also stops the ink in the picture running. Our "snow flakes" will be beads, either micro or seed beads work best. If you don't already have a set of pliers I would highly recommend to add them to your Christmas list,they allow you to make your own jewellery and customise your existing pieces. such a good investment.You will also need an I-pin, a small glass bottle with some sort of lid, a pair of small scissors to aid fiddly cutting, a small image(I have used a polar bear).

  Step 2

  Firstly print an Image onto thin card.Ensure it is large enough to be clear but small enough that it can be pinched and placed into your small glass bottle.

  Step 3

  carefully squeeze a dab of your , multi-purpose glue along the bottom of your image. This will allow your image to stick to the base of the bottle. working on a small scale is tricky but be patient.

• Step 4

  working quickly you need to pinch the picture so that it squeezes through the neck opening and into the bottle. (there isn't a picture for this step because a picture can't explain it)Just like model ships go in small and expand, your picture will squeeze in and re expand.
  Once your picture is loose inside use a cocktail stick or your scissors (something with a fine tip) to press the image to the base of the glass. once your image is secure leave it to dry for a minute.

• Step 5

  Now you need to pour in a small amount of beads, enough to cover the base of your motif without covering the whole image. You need a decent amount to shake.

  Step 6

  I pierced my I pin through the Cork lid,and formed a loop at the top using my pliers.I pins have a small head at the base that prevents them from slipping of your charm. Then I dabbed my glue around the cork bung and plugged it in the bottle to secure the contents within. This may seem like allot of steps but you can always use super glue to fix a wire loop to the top if you don't feel sure of how to fit an I-pin.

• Step 7

  Thread a necklace through and there you have it a snow globe necklace to enjoy :)
