Knot Thread Stitch
Imagine sleeping on a cloud. I added my quirky and cute cloud illustrations to pillowcases in colors that coordinate with the pre-existing bedding in my home. This type of project is a quick and easy way to spruce up your bed without spending a fortune or a lot of time. Did I mention these would make a sweet gift too?

You Will Need
-
Step 1
Position the cloud template on your pillowcase and transfer the design. The samples feature a white pillowcase embroidered with blue thread for a twin bed and green pillowcases with white thread for a queen-size bed. Place the clouds wherever you want, but if you are going to sleep on the case, as opposed to using it decoratively, you might want to place the clouds toward an edge rather than where your cheek might lie.
-
Step 2
Place the design in your embroidery hoop and chain stitch following the lines.
-
Step 3
Remove the hoop, insert a pillow, fluff, and throw them on your bed!
