Skirt Hitches

I needed a way to lift my skirt for a costume im doing..im not big on sewing..as im just not that good at it,plus i wanted to be able to adjust the length and take them off if i wanted and not alter the skirt,as i may use it for something different in the future..this seemed perfect!

pretty easy to make...buy some suspender/mitten clips and some fabric/trim of some sort...you can hand sew them or use a sewing machine..the first one i did i hand sewed..then i remembered how easy and fast it would be to just use my sewing machine,plus it would look wwaayy better!

i made 4 in total..2 for the front and 2 for the back...i like the way they turned out! now i just need to adjust them on my skirt to how much of my petticoat i wanna show!

i made them in black...and plan on making more in the future with different colors/fabrics/trims! :)
