beautiful six-sided snowflake for winter and Christmas
I started with a sheet of tissue paper that I cut into rectangles. It worked well. I then made some out of coffee filters. Those also worked beautifully. I hung a bunch on our tree and taped some to our front door. Cutting at different angles and differend shapes will give you a differet look.

You Will Need

  • Step 1

Fold your paper circle in half.

  • Step 2

Fold the halved circle into thirds.

  • Step 3

Fold the thirds in half again.

  • Step 4

Cut the large folded edge off of your snowflake -- note: you will be cutting only one side of the dendrite so don't worry about the other side, you'll throw that away.

  • Step 5

    Unfold carefully.

This is such an easy and inexpensive way to add a little christmas spirit. I used to make these a lot as a kid thank you for sharing and making me remember!
