• 

  Step 1

  Take both of your fabrics and cut a rectangle out them.

• 

  Step 2

  Then you fold the fabric right sides facing each other and sew on the edges.

  Do the same thing for the lining fabric

  Now your bag is going to be all flat like in this picture but you want to make it have a rectangle shape a the bottom that should look something like step 4.

  It should look like this.

  Step 5

  Now let me explain to you how to arrive to this result. This is a delicate step because it is hard to explain but basically, you want to look at the folded fabric (I mean the bottom of the bag) from up like this.

  I used a plastic bag to explain ^^

  Step 6

  Then you want to pinch one end like this and you sew. Do the same to the other side oh and be careful, they need to be symmetrical otherwise your bag will look a little weird.

  Where my fingers are is where you need to sew.

  Step 7

  Now make some bands of fabric as long as you want them to make the handle (sorry my English is bad ^^).

  I used the straps of this bag.

  Step 8

  I made it into this.

• Step 9

  Before sewing the lining fabric to the other fabric, you need to cut a piece of cardboard the size of the rectangle of the bottom of your bag.

  I suggest making the cardboard stronger by adding and rounding it with some tape.

  When you place it in the bag, you can go to step 10

  Step 10

  Now attach the straps to the bag. and sew the lining fabric to your bag.
  Then make a hem.

  well done. You've just made a awesome simple bag. =)
