See Ya Later Alligator Necklace

After while crocodile...a necklace for my sister.
This was another special request. When we were all growing up, my little sister and my late grandma always said to each other "See ya later Alligator" and "After while Crocodile" every time we parted ways. My grandma passed away in November 2008. At my little sister's high school graduation this year, my cousin gave her a bracelet as a gift. It was a simple beaded bracelet that said "See Ya Later Alligator" with an alligator charm on it. Very sweet and sentimental for a time when we knew Grandma was watching over her! The bracelet turned out to be too small, so my sister passed it on to me to turn into something she could wear. I used hemp with bead wire run through the knots, along with re-purposed small wooden beads and handmade paper beads created from magazine pages. She loves it!
