I attach them to elastic and make a knot so as the hair doesnt slide of but is also possible to be taken off to install in your hair as well. You can also go to micheals and get lace and attach them to it aswell just dont pull to tight or it can rip and you have a dreadful mess! hehe get it dread lol yeah im lame *snorts* Hope that helps a little =)

what do you attach the dreads to? i can't find a rubber band big enough for more than 10 dreads
