Step 1
First:

Get 3 different types of fabric. Cut each into 3 strips (you should have 9 total). Braid together; you now have the 3 pieces.
Step 2
Next:

Clamp a metal ribbon clamp onto the ends of the 3 braided fabric pieces, then attach the rings and clasp.
Step 3
And lastly:

Glue little jewels on for something extra.
