• 

  Step 1

  What you’ll need:
  - Hot glue gun
  - Rope. I used quite thin sisal rope but you can use any rope you like
  - A mold for your bowl. Glass works best.

  Not pictured needs:
  - Scissors
  - Vaseline

  Step 2

  Rub the vaseline all over the mold. This way the glue won’t stick (that much) to it.

  Step 3

  Now, by beginning at the end of the rope, put a dab of hot glue on the rope and roll into a spiral. By putting little dabs of glue on the rope and rolling it, follow the shape of your mold. Make sure the rope sticks to the glue and therefore to the already rolled rope.

  Step 4

  Keep on rolling, rolling and rolling, following the shape of the mold and dabbing the glue. When you decide it has been enough, cut the rope and make sure you glue the end very well. Take it off of the mold (this might be a little tricky!)

  Step 5

  And there you have it, easy peasy right?
