• 

  Step 1

  This is the oooooold and inused shoe lace I mentioned above..
  I used one lace for one flower.

  (Really, I don't even know why I didn't use it on my shoes, also I don't absolutely know where is the other one <.<" )

  Step 2

  I pinned down the very end of the lace, right before the hard part, and started to loop around (like an 8 ) the thread, piercing down right in the middle.
  Remember to pin down the flatted part, the twisting of your loop must be in the round parts (see the immage for ref.)
  Continue to loop and pierce around the needle so it will be easier to make a circle.. Loop and pierce, loop and pierce... again and again and again...

  Step 3

  You now have the other hard part of the shoe lace in your hand and the last loop to do.
  Stop here! Before anything prepare your needle & thread.
  Now do the last loop but this time place the final piece Below, with the starting point. Carefully, place your fingers in the center of this almost-flower and hold it all in place.
  Grab your needle & thread and sew a couple of simple stitch so that the loops cannot go anywhere and now you can also cut away the hard plastic parts. yay!

  Step 4

  It's up to you to start sewing in the clean front or the one with the cutted parts.. I think it depend to how you will use it and/or how big is the button.

  So.. Using the same thread sew the button right in the center (you can also use some big pearl or jewelry to make it more shiny) and..
  Nice & Done!
