Got some comfy but ugly shoes? No worries, just paint them!
I've had these camo shoes since I was about 12, (I went through and "I want all things camo phase" way back when) and now that I've changed my style a bit, they don't flow with my wardrobe, but still fit. This is a very serious problem because they're super comfy. So, in comes the fabric paint I bought for nothing in particular, a painting sponge, and some tape, and viola! Shoes that I can now wear in public.

Step 1
First, tape around the sole of your shoes and anything else you don't want to paint. My shoes have buckles and studs so that was kind of a pain, but I found that I accidentally got paint on one of the studs, and I wiped it off right then and it didn't leave a mark.
So, if it's metal and you wipe it off immediately then it will probably come off. -
Step 3
Let them dry for a while I let mine dry over night. And then you have an awesome pair of shoes you're not ashamed to wear in public.
