Based on Retro Nautical Dress by Hana
Hana, you're very talented - I don't know how you managed to make that in less than 2 hours!

I just need somewhere to wear it now!

Great version! I can't find a corset for mine, did you just use a regular tank top?!

That would be an easier way to do it! I like the effect of it though so I may have to make another one!
I'm so glad you like it!!

oh great you made one for yourself! Happy
and it's more complicated then mine, so that's probably why it took you some more time. i just took a red belt to put around my waist so I practically only had to make the skirt Happy plus it wasn't the first organza tutu I've done, with some practice it takes you less time.
Anyway, turned out great hope you'll have occasion to wear it soon!

I bought a plain navy vest top from Primark then sewed on a white satine underskirt (because my top is stretchy and I wanted the dress to fit over my head, I had the top around my bust and pinned it - kinda weird to explain ask if you want more detail!) Then I sewed the navy ribbon onto the strips of organza (I didn't change the tension on my machine and kinda broke it, so I did most of that by hand) Then made the layers of organza into loops by sewing the ends together and attached them to the top (the loops were 3m long so I had to tuck them a lot) and finally I put the ribbon on (again I help the top at my bust and pinned, then kept the top stretched whilst I sewed, again ask for more detail if you want a better explanation)
Hope this helps!

Omg, how did you make it exactly?
This dress is really really nice!
And like the skirt/bottom part though I have no idea how do you get the blak ribbon onto the bottom of it.
good job! Happy
