About
Recycled Screen Door; Tiki style!
I had an old screen door from remodling my home this year. It seemed too cool to just throw in the trash. So I stitched on it using a sublime stitching pattern (blown-up) and yarn. Then I blanket stitched around the edge old x-mas lights and old Leis from my last party. Then behind the screen I wired a mylar door curtain (those stringy ones) so it would look like rain when ever the air moved around it. I think it turned out rather well if I do say myself! ;)

My profile picture is of a painting I did on screen. I liked your idea of using thread. Would of been a lot easier for sure.
