You know that Lamp, The One you have just laying around being ugly? Well It's time to change it up!
I really needed extra light in my room and the only lamp available was the old cream coloured lamp So I decided to get artsy and painted/added fabric!

Sorry about the quality of the photos, my phone isn't the best at taking photos!
Also I'm sorry If It's hard to understand, I'm not the best explainer, But If you have any questions feel free to comment and I'll try my best to help! :)

Step 1
First You Paint the entire lamp, minus the lampshade and light bulb holder. The cord is optional.
Step 2
I decided to add something to the lampshade besides fabric so I painted my hand and put handprints all around it and then put the fabric on, and because the fabric wasn't very thick you could see the handprints, and it looked really cool, but you can skip this if you want, or you could leave it like this without the fabric, Your call!
Step 3
Next I Started attaching the fabric, The first time I tried this the fabric went weird and got really thin because I started from the end of one piece of fabric, So Instead I Began in the middle of the fabric and I put glue vertically on the lamp and stuck the middle onto the lampshade and worked outwards.
Step 4
I found that glueing the fabric into the insides was quite tricky because the fabric kept sticking up, So what I did was I got bobby pins and used them to hold down the fabric until the glue hardened.
Step 5
Now Just Pop the shade back on and plug it in.
Step 6
Voila!Boring Old Lamp to Awesome New Lamp!
