chocolate (B) for embroidery and ecru (C) for pompon tail
Pair 2.75mm knitting needles
Washable toy stuffing
10cm square of chocolate felt

28 sts and 58 rows to 10cm square over garter st using 2.75mm needles.

To make up

Join body back to body front leaving neck edge open. Stuff firmly and run a thread around neck edge, pull up slightly and secure. Sew ears to head. Embroider facial features with B. Sew head to body at neck. Fold each arm and each leg in half, join seam leaving a gap, stuff firmly and close gap. Sew arms and legs in place to body. Using the little bear sole template on page 120, cut two soles from chocolate felt and sew to feet. With B, work ‘toes’ and ‘paws’ on feet and arms. Make a small pompon in C and sew to body.
