  Step 1

  Let's get started! You want to select a pair of basic, sporty shorts, or something with a fun print - it's totally up to you! (I found my shorts at a thrift store for only $2.50!)

  Step 2

  Before adding the pom-pom trim, you want to hem your shorts if you want them shorter. (I simply pinned the hem under and added a straight stitch around each leg.)

  Step 3

  Next, take the pom-pom trim you chose and pin it to the leg openings of your shorts. You can either hand sew the trim in place or use a sewing machine (if you have one), placing your needle far to one side to get to close to the trim as possible.

  Step 4

  Ta-Da! Wear your new girly sporty shorts proudly!! :)
