You Will Need
-
Step 1Using 2 matching pom pom makers on top of each other, wind a ball of yarn through the center and round the outside until a thick layer of yarn surrounds the pom pom maker.

Step 2Snip the yarn right round between the 2 pom pom makers.

Step 3Tie a piece of yarn securely between the pom pom makers, and then remove them.
-
Step 4Voila. Your pom pom is finished.

haha. I never really used a pom pom maker. I just did that... without the maker thing. But it seems very useful.

Brill, I make my circles out of card too, and I tend to wrap the wool around until the hole in the middle of the maker is completely full, makes em fluffier Great How-to though, and welcome from me too ^^

That's cool Amy, that is exactly how I make mine, though I made my own pom-pom maker out of cardboard in different sizes depending on what size I want my pom-poms.
