Pokemon Pokeball Hat
Pokemon has made a big comeback.
My kids have the X & Y games and are always playing them so I decided to make hats for them.
I had a look around the internet for ideas and found many patterns so I used the one that looked the simplest.
The hat only took approximately an hour to make. It is really easy and simple to do.
Have a look at the pictures & pattern and have a go at making one yourself.
If the pattern below is not for you there are hundreds around the internet for free don't be put off. Give it a go.

You Will Need

Step 1
With Red wool,
chain 8 and connect to beginning stitch
Round 1: Inside of chain circle,
DC 12 stitches and connect
Round 2: *Dc 2, 2 dc in next Dc* Repeat 6 times
Round 3: *Dc3, 2 dc in next Dc* Repeat 6 times
Round 4: *Dc 4, 2 dc in next Dc* Repeat 6 times
Round 5: *Dc 5, 2 dc in next Dc* Repeat 6 times
Round 6: *Dc 6, 2 dc in next Dc* Repeat 6 times
Round 7: *Dc 7, 2 dc in next Dc* Repeat 6 times
Round 8-Round 12: Continue around in DC and Fasten off.
Round 13-Round 15: Attach Black wool, continue to go around, fasten off.
Round 16-Round 20: Attach white yarn, continue around, fasten off and sew in tail. (Make
sure it covers your ears, if not, continue around until it does.) -
Step 2
Button (Black Part):
With Black wool, Chain 8 and connect to beginning stitch
Round 1: Work 12 DC inside the ring.
Round 2: DC1, 2 DC in next until end.
Round 3: DC2, 2 DC in next until end.
Round 4: DC2, 3 DC in next until end, slip stitch off.Button (White Part):
With White wool, Chain 8 and connect to beginning stitch
Round 1: Work 12 DC inside the ring.
Round 2: DC1, 2 DC in next until end.
Round 3: DC2, 2 DC in next until end, slip stitch off.Sew button onto the base where you attached the colors, It will cover up the
uneven part. Once you do this, sew in tails and you should be done!
