About
Round (or Peter Pan) collar
Many vintage sweater patterns were a take on the classic polo shirt with different stitch and color combinations to ring the changes, so a neat collar could be just the thing to give your garment that vintage look. This collar is worked from the inner edge outwards.
Pro Tip
A pretty peter-pan collar can look great, particularly when you’re using a fine yarn. However, the edges can look a little unfinished, so combine this with a crocheted or picot edge (see p. 149), or possibly a small hem sewn under.
