I love these! They remind me of Emilie Autumn's pasties. Good job!

I made a flat template of the heart shape first to make sure it would cover all the pertinent parts.
Then I made a regular circle pasty, I just made it bigger than it seemed like it would need to be.
Then I just kinda trimmed it up with the seam towards the point of the heart.
I cut out a piece of pink felt and glued it on the make everything pretty and smooth and then I went jewel crazy.

How did you make the heart shape? Did you use the simple circle cone then cut a heart out of fabric and just glued that right on top?
