  Step 1

  i drew these, the feathers are very easy to draw, like, seriously.
  i just made a sh*tload of them, in all different sizes and shapes.
  keep in mind that this style of wings is just layer after layer of feathers, and there is logic in there... somewhere....

  so, this is a basic feather... make a ton of em!

  Step 3

  didnt take pics for a while here...
  but just like.. put the top feathers on top of the other and so on.

  add feathers...

  and feathers...

  ...guess what you gotta do next?

  aaaand finnishing up

  and a tip:
  you can do this with craft foam, metal and much more :)
  also, if you need the back to look good, just make another wing and glue it on the back of this one :P

Some of the best, easiest and cheapest ideas for wings I've seen in a long time. Especially good for one-time Cosplays and risky costumes. I applaud you!
