Step 1Cut a piece of hair out of the extension. (The bigger the cut, the less subtle it will be in your hair) For me, I cut just a small portion of an already small hair extension.

Step 2Hot-glue the ends together. When the glue cools slightly, press it together with your thumb and forefinger.

Step 3Clip top layer of hair back. Clip in the hair extension temporarily.

Step 4Take twice as much hair as you took to make the hair extension. Separate that hair into 2 sections.

Step 5Begin braiding very tightly in order to keep the synthetic hair connected to your real hair. I don't use rubber bands at the ends because they look less natural.

Step 6Take out the clip and your done : D!
