Nail Art Tutorial : Floral Nails

• 

  Step 1

  First start with two coats of your base colour nail polish. Here, I used American Apparel T-Shirt.

• 

  Step 2

  Next, make one dot anywhere on your nail using a large dotting tool. I used OPI Funkey Dunkey.

• 

  Step 3

  Now using your large dotting tool still, place four more dots in a circle to make your flower shape.

• 

  Step 4

  Fill in your flower using the dotting tool, and repeat in other places on your nail where possible.
  Painting some half flowers on the edges of your nail make the design look more effective.

• 

  Step 5

  Repeat these steps using a small dotting tool and another nail polish. I used OPI Big Apple Red.

• 

  Step 6

  Using your nail art pens or black and white nail varnish, add small black and/or white dots to the centre of each flower.
  I like to paint white dots on darker colours, and black dots on lighter ones.

• 

  Step 7

  Add some top coat, and that's all there is to it !
