This is another design which is perfect for the nice Spring and Summer weather ! This is my go-to technique for painting simple flowers on my nails, and barely requires any time at all ! The time required is for the full manicure.

Instructions

  1. Small floral8

First start with two coats of your base colour nail polish. Here, I used American Apparel T-Shirt.

  2. Small floral9

Next, make one dot anywhere on your nail using a large dotting tool. I used OPI Funkey Dunkey.

  3. Small floral010

Now using your large dotting tool still, place four more dots in a circle to make your flower shape.

  4. Small floral011

Fill in your flower using the dotting tool, and repeat in other places on your nail where possible. Painting some half flowers on the edges of your nail make the design look more effective.

  5. Small floral012

Repeat these steps using a small dotting tool and another nail polish. I used OPI Big Apple Red.

  6. Small floral013

Using your nail art pens or black and white nail varnish, add small black and/or white dots to the centre of each flower. I like to paint white dots on darker colours, and black dots on lighter ones.

  7. Small floral014

Add some top coat, and that's all there is to it !
