• 

  Step 1

  Cut out the following pieces, using your rotary cutter and mat.

  Green:
  (1) 3 1/2 x 12 1/2"
  (2) 3 1/2 x 6 1/2"
  (1) 3 1/2 x 3 1/2"
  (1) 2 x 14 1/2"
  (1) 2 x 6 1/2"

  Black:
  (1) 3 1/2 x 14 1/2"

  Step 2

  Next, stitch the 3 1/2 x 14 1/2" strip of black and the 2 x 14 1/2" strip of green together.

  Then, cut it into (3) 3 1/2 x 5" pieces and (2) 2 x 5" pieces.

  Step 3

  Stitch your block together per the diagram, stitching according to the numbered arrows.

  Step 4

  You will have a 12 1/2" (12" finished) Creeper block. Great for a pillow, a zip pouch, or a quilt. You can find over 50 different Mincraft blocks and a giant Enderdragon over at my blog. Check out the link provided. This is a picture of the front of my son's finished quilt.

  Step 5

  This is a picture of the back which includes the extra blocks and the giant Enderdragon. All of the blocks are simple straight lines and easy piecing.
