  Step 1

  Place the gin and dried fruit in a jar and leave to infuse for a few hours before squeezing the juice from the fruit.

• 

  Step 2

  Strain the gin into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

• 

  Step 3

  Squeeze in the juice from the lemon.

• 

  Step 4

  Add the Amaretto and simple syrup.

• 

  Step 5

  Shake well and strain into a martini glass.

• 

  Step 6

  Serve with a twist of lemon and a mince pie.
