Step 1
Set up for Chart
-Using 4.5 mm needles, cast on 110 sts.
-Being careful not to twist sts, pm and join for working in the round.
-Work in 1x1 ribbing for 1î.
-Switch to 5mm needles and work two rounds in reverse stockinette (that is, purl all
the sts).
-Next round: P55, [kfb] twice into 56th st, p to end of round.Working the Chart

Short Rows
Row 16: Beginning of Short Rows
-sm of round beginning, work across chart, sm, p to 11 sts before end of round, wrap this st, turn
-now work the WS (row 17 of chart), k the ks and p the ps (follow the chart) until 11 sts before beginning of the round marker, wrap this st, turn
Row 18:
-work across chart until one st before wrapped st. Wrap the st before the previous wrapped st, turn
-repeat these wraps and turns as outlined in row 18 for each row until chart row 72 -

Return to Working in the Round
Row 72: Begin working in the round again
-RS: work chart, pick up wrapped sts, p to the beginning of the round marker, sm, p sts, picking up wrapped sts along the way
-sm for chart; you are now on chart row 73
