Mexican Fan Poncho (World Cup)

support mexico or any other country with a homemade poncho :D short how to.
i made this for the world cup fancy dress i organised at my workplace.

its really easy to make. i trimed down a full size fleece throw to suit my size, cut out a hole whilst it was placed diagonally to get the poncho effect.

i then cut out the words "ayuda mexico" and "muchas gracias" which mean support mexico and thankyou very much in spanish using a vareity of different coloured towels. which i have lots of materials left over from to be used on other projects.

all that you do after that is hot glue them in place on the front and back of the poncho, or sew them if you prefer, i had little time lol.

and hey presto....there you have it! your supporters poncho :D

it cost me £4.50 to make with spare material left over, so i weas pretty chuffed with my bargain make :D
