Very cute and easy :) Can be made into a bracelet also!
This project is from a book called 'Making Vintage Jewellery' by Emma Brennan.
It was so easy to make and I love the bracelet I made from it :)
Sorry for the lack of pictures.

  • Step 1

Start the choker by attaching all four wires at one end. Crimp the wires together either in pairs using one small crimp per pair of wires, or crimp all four wires together using one large crimp.

  • Step 2

Thread all four wires through three metal beads.

  • Step 3

Thread all four wires through three faceted glass beads. Split the wires into two pairs and thread each pair of wires through three seed beads.

  • Step 4

Now split the wires out singly so that you have four working wires and add 2 bugle beads onto each of the four wires.

  • Step 5

Add a sead bead to each outside wire and thread both centre wires together through a seed bead.

  • Step 6

Add 2 bugles onto each of the four wires. Add a seed bead onto each outside wire and bring each centre wire out and thread through the seed beads on the outside wires. Continue by adding two bugles onto each of the four wires.

  • Step 7

Add a seed bead onto rach outside wire and thread both centre wires together through a seed bead in the middle.

  • Step 8

Follow these steps until you have 11 lines of seed beads.

  • Step 9

Finish the choker by repeating the start in reverse. Add fastenings onto the choker using jump rings. You may want to add an extender chain or extra jump rings to allow for neck size variation.

    Step 10

When I made this necklace I actually didn't understand a word of it! I'm a visual person so I used a diagram alone to make my choker. It may help you. Just note that the diagram is only half the choker. You will need to enlarge it up the top though. Enjoy!
