You Will Need

Step 1Choose your. shirt for the main body. Cut away the back section under the yoke, sleeve and side seam leaving 1/2" seam allowance.

Step 2Trim the floral fabric to match the piece of fabric you just removed from the back, adding 1/2" extra seam allowance at the side, armhole and top for attaching to the shirt.
Cut the floral piece to the desired length.

Step 3Cut the stripe shirt front off of the rest of the garment. Sew the front with button placket to the bottom of the floral piece of fabric. Finish any side seams that show, I left my hem uneven with longer tails in the back.
