a fabric lover's version of a scrapbook
I couldnt bear to part with my daughter's (now 6) baby and toddler clothes, so i made her this memory quilt with them. I personalised it with a stitchery of her name and dob. She got to choose the border and backing fabric and now refuses to sleep with anything else. Now her sister (3) is waiting for hers :0)

thanks welandra and pj. this was actually my first ever attempt at making a quilt and the first time id used a machine since high school- i didnt even know how to thread the machine!!

I love memory quilts, i wish I had done quilting when my kids were little..oh what memories I could have made.I didnt even know any one who quilted when I started quilting..So wonderful to have that for your children.
