Beads, Christmas, Ornament, Angel, Gingerbread
I love making melted pony bead projects, but kept getting frustrated with the beads moving on the cookie sheet (any tips will be appeciated).

I experimented with tin cookie cutters and was very pleased with the

outcome.

  • Step 1

    Pre-Heat Oven to 400 Degrees

  • Step 2

Cover cookie sheet with tin foil.

  • Step 3

Place cookie cutter on cookie sheet and fill with beads. Place the beads in the cutter flat. I put some beads on side to fill in gaps when I could. Melting process should take care of the gaps
Bake for 20 minutes. Repeat for about 5 minutes if the beads don't spread enough to fuse.

  • Step 4

Remove from oven and let cool for 3-5 minutes.

  • Step 5

    Remove from cookie cutter

  • Step 6

Decorate with fabric paint if needed. I used black and brown beads for angel so there was no painting involved.

    Let dry

  • Step 7

Glue large jump ring to back. (You can use anything for a hanger)

The fumes from the pony beads are toxic. Either do it outside with a toaster oven or make sure there is a lot of venilation when you do these. I love melting pony beads too.

i saw in the $store that they have these animal shaped silicone pancake makers & thought of you. If they are made for holding the mix in the shape it probably would work for ur melted beads staying inside the shape
