Party-size Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato sandwich. AKA Chest pains in a bun.
These are party-sized BLTs, people should get served slices from the buns. I have a habit of over-filling them, and still haven't discovered a way of not letting them fall apart when you cut them. Perhaps square portions instead of wedges?

Anyway,they're pretty easy to do, just prepare a BLT how you like it. See below for the way I do it.

Pleeeease don't eat too much of this stuff, I used about 400ml of mayo in mine! (Even though it's good)

  • Step 1

    Cook the bacon (crispy), leave to cool and cut up into little bits.

  • Step 2

    Slice the stotties/bread into two sandwich halves, shred the lettuce and slice the tomatoes.

  • Step 3

    In a bowl, mix some mayo with the lettuce, spread over one piece of bread (base).

    Repeat with the tomatoes and arrange on top of the lettuce.

    Repeat with the bacon.

  • Step 4

    Put the top on the sandwich and they're done!
