Cute mini-chalk boards to stick on your fridge.
These are super easy and cheap! Great for a night when you don't feel like doing much but want to do something easy and crafty that will look nice in your home.

  • How to make paper. Magnetic Chalkboard Notepads - Step 1
    Step 1

First thing's first.. if you're using chalkboard SPRAY PAINT, put on some old clothes, tie your hair back, get something to cover your nose/mouth and get some protective wear for your eyes because spray paint can be annoyingly smelly and strong! Set up a place outside where you can spray paint your paper.

If you're painting your paper with regular chalkboard paint, I also recommend wearing old clothes, tying your hair back, and using some newspaper or a trash bag to put underneath.

  • Step 2

Now that you're ready, paint away! If you're using spray paint, spray slowly but not too slowly so that the paint is uneven. Just spray a nice thin layer. Same with the regular paint.

  • Step 3

If you're too excited to wait, like I was, and want to speed up the drying process, break out the hair dryer and blast your wet paint with cool and then hot air, but not too close! You don't want to push the paint around.

Now is time for magnets! I bought some magnets with adhesive foam that make it easy to stick to the paper I got. Arrange accordingly.

Just for fun and ease of use, I stuck some magnets on the back of my box of chalk so that it would be right there when I wanted it (and because I probably would have lost it haha!).

Place your lovely chalkboards onto your fridge or wherever else they fit! Now have some fun leaving messages, writing to-do or grocery lists, and doodling!
