A super easy, non-destructive way to turn an old long sleeve shirt into a bag
So right around this time of year stores are selling their old winter clothes for amazing prices (walmart stuff for $1) and a great way to repurpose those poor long sleeve shirts is to turn them into these great bags!

Sorry about the different colored shirts being used in the steps, but the bag on the bottom was supposed to be used for the tutorial until the computer decided to not recognize one of my cameras.

Step 1
First you are going to fold down the top and bottom of your shirt facing the front and pin it. Try to make the folds as small as lazily possible just to have as much bag space as you can when done. Oh, and sew across the folds and unpin when done.
Step 2
Now you are going to fold the shirt in half, hamburger style with the front on the outside, and pin both sides. Sew up these and unpin as well.
Step 3
Flip your bag right side out, with the seams on the inside. Now is the toughest part of the project. You have to mess with the sleeves to pull them upright and out of the bag and fold them so they are flat against the bags sides. Now pin and sew them to the bag.
Step 4
Now that you have the sleeves done, you can tie them in a knot or sew the ends together to make the strap/handle. I like tying them because you can untie and adjust the length whenever you want.
Step 5
The best part is of course the last. Decorate!! :D and, as always, enjoy!
