a nice-looking vase for little flowers
Please be carefully and dont hurt yourself when you broke the bulb.

When I have another Bulb I will make pictures from step 2, 3 and 4.

  • How to make a light bulb vase. Light Bulb Vase - Step 1
    Step 1

    1. Please use some cloth around the bulb for safety.

    I used a old sock.

  • Step 2

    2. Go with the Knife under the contact from the Bulb and take it off

  • Step 3

    3. Then destroy carefully the black glass from the Lightbulb with a small hammer.

    If this doesn't work use a Needle Nose Plier and crush the black glass.

    4. With the Allen Key break the glass inside of the bulb.
    (Perhabs you need the hammer again)

    !Watch out, i have broken my first bulb with the Key :(!

    5. Now you can put the Light Bulb Vase in a wooden ring or something else.

    I have the ring from a curtain rod.

    6. Fill in some water and a nice-looking flower.

i've found if you dont have a clear light bulb u can take an opaque one u can put salt in it and swish it around and it makes it clear!

awesome, great tute too, i have seen this to on instructables, but they maded all the steps quit difficult. thanks for this one of yours.

THIS IS AN AMAZING IDEA!!! i love this so much!!! we actually have some old light bulbs that need disposing, but i might do this instead.... looks like a great Earth Day project to me! :-D
