  Step 1

  Gather a bunch of leaf's. Brown, yellow, red, orange, green and purple if your lucky!

• 

  Step 2

  Then place the stem of the leaf on the string...

• 

  Step 3

  ..and tie a tight not with the string.
  Repeat this over and over again along the string and you'll end up with....

• 

  Step 4

  ..gorgeous bunting suitable for halloween and thanksgiving to give your home that Autumn feeling!

I'm going to try this for fall this year... however to preserve them I might try spraying them with hairspray (and for a little extra) sprinkle a bit of powdery glitter over them to make them shine a bit...

verry pretty, but i don't think it will stay so long pretty, i think you can better dry them and pressing them in books for awhile
but anyhow i love the idea, and like how you made this.
