Pretty and simple flowers that can dress up anything!
My local fabric shop is closing, and lace is 25 cents a meter. So why not stock up?

  • Step 1

Cut a lenght of lace about 30 cm (12 in) long. You will need the piece to be a bit longer if you lace is a bit thicker. (Like the pink flower above)

  • Step 2

Using a loose running stitch, go along the top of the entire length of lace. Once you reach the end, loop hte needle back through the first stitch you made, to make a circle.

  • Step 3

Gather the flower together, and once it it gathered as tight as you want it, tie it off.

  • Step 4

Decide which side of the flower you want to be the top, flip it over TOP SIDE DOWN and sew up the two ends of the lace nice and tight.

  • Step 5

Take the craft glue, and apply a very thin layer anywhere you want glitter, and sprinkle on your glitter. With the hot glue, put your decoration of choice in the middle of the flower.

  • Step 6

Once everything is dry, hot glue your hair clip or pin onto the back of the flower. They make REALLY nice facinators!

  • Step 7

    Have fun wearing it!
