Knit Tote Bag

East Mesh bag pattern.
So this thing is totally awesome. I was concerned while knitting because the bag seemed so small but it stretched out to just the right size when filled. The pattern (found on Ravelry) is very simple to knit with beautiful results. This was my first attempt at any sort of lace or mesh and I can’t stress enough the importance of stitch count. I forgot how many stitches I was supposed to have at one point and added a stitch when I shouldn’t have. It threw off the whole pattern and I had to rip out all the mesh and start over. So as long as you stay aware and not get distracted by Law & Order reruns like I did, you’ll find this a cinch to knit.
