Itty Bitty Baby Dress

I'm actually pretty new also, and was very nervous about the piping part, just like the pic in figure 4 on the tutorial, I left mine folded and pinned where I thought I wanted it then just sew it on, I put a bunch of pins on first and flipped it to see what it looked like first kinda like a dry run I guess. just remember when you put the skirt on sew it just above where you sewed the piping so only a little bit of it shows. it kinda hard to explain, sorry hope this helps a little

Awesome! DO you mind if I ask how you did the "piping" on the trim? I can't seem to figure out how to make it.... I'm pretty new to sewing.
