  Step 1

  First get an idea of what it is exactly that you want to do with it....(see my thinking face? lol)

  Step 2

  Then lay down a shirt that fits you well over the top of your inside-out man-shirt. You can cut off the sleeves first, I realized that a little later and it would've made things a little easier for me if I had done it earlier haha

  Step 3

  Pin where you are going to need to sew. Then turn it back right-side out and try it on....I know you will probably get stuck a few times in the process, but I must have checked, re-pinned, double checked, re-pinned...etc etc etc...at least 5 times to make it exactly how I wanted. Then sew the sleeves back on. I cut the sleeves a little shorter and stuff, it's up to you...wherever your imagination takes you:)

  Step 4

  Then go show off your cute new shirt!;) I tied a ribbon around my waist for that extra feminine touch<3 Hope this was maybe a little helpful:)

This is awesome! I have a flannel button up shirt that I found in the boys section for $3. It's way too big on me, so I was thinking about customizing it, and your shirt looks great. Did you use a mechanical sewing machine or did you sew it by hand?
