  • How to stitch a knit or crochet pouch. iPod Cosy - Step 1
    Step 1

    <u>Pattern (for iPod mini):</u><br>
    CO 20 sts<br>
    Using the first colour work in stockinette stitch for 4 rows.<br>
    Change to the second colour and K2, P2,rib for 4 rows.<br>
    Change back to the first colour and work in stockinette stitch for about 4".<br>
    BO sts.<br>
    Sew the bottom and side up using a yarn needle and a length of the first colour of yarn.

Wow, this is great.

I attempted to make myself an iPod cover out of felt before, but it fell apart. I'll definately be giving this a go- and this time, I will actually finish it!

Yeah garter stitch is just knitting in knit stitch Happy.

I've started one for my 5generation iPod Video. I've done 12 stitches accross and im making it long and will sew on the sides. I'm just doing garter(is that where you knit it all?) 'cos I can't purl yet!
Its my first project so I can't wait to finish!!!

I really love this; i just started knitting and an ipod cosy was my first project. I really want to make one of these, but i was just wondering what size needles you used? thanks!

Hey, I used 6mm needles. The "what you need" for each project is on the left hand side of the page, just incase you didn't notice. Maybe I should make them a bit more obvious. x
