You Will Need

Step 1First, part your hair. If you have thick hair like me, it's going to be important to make sure you're pulling the hair out and away from your face as you braid. This will make twisting it up and around your head at the end much simpler.

Step 2Braid all the way to the end.

Step 3Now do the same for the other side.

Step 4You should have two adorable pigtails coming out the side of your head!

Step 5Next, pull one of your pigtail braids over and use two bobby pins to cross-pin it into place.

Step 6Repeat with your other pigtail braid, making sure to tuck it over any straggly ends from the other braid. With that hidden, cross-pin it into place as well.

Step 7Tah dah! You now have adorable milkmaid braids!
