Kitschy cute house shaped pillows.
I made these as a housewarming present for my friend as as Christmas presents for my friends and cousin.

    Step 1

    Start by making a template for your house - just draw a house like a child would and turn them in to paper shapes.

    Draw around your templates on to fleece.

    Cut out two rectangles for the main house.

    Two dark pieces for the roof.

    The windows, window boxes, door and two small rectangles for the chimney.

    Pin the windows and door on to the front of one of the fleece rectangles.

    Sew in place.

    Cut squint half rectangles, for curtains and pin over the windows.

    Sew in place and pin the windowsills to the bottom of the windows.

    Sew in place at either side.

    Pin the roof to the front of the house, so that the right sides are facing and sew in place. Do this with the back of the house too.

    Sew a chimney, by sewing two rectangles together and turning inside out.

    Pin to the right side of the house, facing downwards.

    Lay the back of the house on the front, so that the right sides are facing and pin around the edges.

    Sew around the outside, leaving a small gap at the bottom.

    Fold right side out.

    Sew the opening closed with a needle and thread.

    Sew a pom pom to the door like a handle.

    Sew some felt flowers in the window boxes.

    Add the finishing touch of metal numbers that match your house number.
