About
Cute headbands with amazing alter-egos!
Easy and fun headbands. Really easy.
All of these stitches are . . . I think . . . Running Stitch?
The zebra and money headband are one, the sparkly pink and denim are one, and the white-ish-yellow-ish one and swirly plaid red are one.
I am officially obsessed with fashion items that have alter-egos! :)

Step 1
Take two pieces of cloth and try to eyeball how long you want it too be, taking account into how tght you want it to be. put your two pieces of fabric together and cut out.
-
Step 2
You can pin if you want, but ever since I almost got my finger caught in the sewing needle on my machine, pulled my hand away put had my pointer finger get caught in a pin and start squirting blood everywhere, I don't usually use pins for this size of things. Enough talk.
Sew the two long ends together but NOT the short ends.
You can also hem them whitch I highly recomend so that your fabric doesnt unwind.
-
Step 3
Take a short or long piece of elastic, depending how tight and how long you made the strips, and slip ONE end of the elastic into the space between your two fabrics.
-
Step 4
Sew across the entire length of that short side, stretching the elastic when your needle hits it.
-
Step 5
Repeat steps with the other side of your elastic to the other side of the headband.
-
Step 6
Cut off all the little threads if you have'nt already, and walk out!
-
Step 7
Tip Stage:
These headbands are great for little messups such as forgot the party was informal and wore a boring gray headband? Turn it over to reveal pink!
Awesome streetwear: I wore a non-double-sided one that had the word 'patriots' sewn on for Patriots Appreciation Dy and my class and teacher loved it!

Step 8
One more tip:
You don't have to cut your headband one straight line: one of mine was zigzag on the sides (zebra+money. See pic). I love thick headbands but it doesn't necessarily have to be that way.
