Diy personal clothing tags - great for your business or on gifts!
I needed to make some simple clothing labels and came up with this super easy and cheap idea. You could make these for all kinds of personal uses too.. stamp out "love, mom" or "made with love". And there are so many cute stamps available.

I used typewriter font alphabet stamps and Palette Hybrid Ink pad, but there are probably other fabric inks out there that would also work.

  • Step 1

First cut your twill tape into the size tag you want, leaving a little extra on each side for a seam when stitching it onto your garment. You may also want to iron the tape out flat so it's easier to print on.

  • Step 2

Next start printing your logo or image onto each strip. Allow to dry a couple minutes and then press with an iron, placing parchment paper between the twill tape and iron.

*And be sure to heat set the ink with your iron soon after printing because the ink bleeds onto the twill tape if you wait too long.
