Baby Shower Diaper Cake
I volunteered to make a diaper cake for a shower I was helping host. It was a coed shower and I wanted to include the dad so I came up with this.

Step 1Roll daipers and secure using ribbon or rubber bands.

Step 2Gather all of you supplies

Step 3Arrange diapers in a circle on platter and secure with rubber band or ribbon.

Step 4Fold and wrap a receiving blanket around diapers. I secured mine with corsage pins. I also made another one using beer cans for bottom layer. Can be seen in background.

Step 5Add layer of beer cans, then layer of diapers. Place dowels through layers for stability.

Step 6You can either use ribbon to tie, or corsage pins to pin items into daipers.

i personally like the way diaper cakes look when i dont roll the diapers. Use a paper towel cardboard middle thing, and start by rubber banding 3 or 4 to the cardboard. start tapering the diapers after that until it gets bigger. Its hard to do the first time, but after that its easy!
