Step 1
mix the dye,
I used a mixing bowl to mix the hair dye
pour the dye in, and then add the juice
stir untill the powder disolves
-
Step 2
then cover the bowl with plastic wrap,
for about one hour to set the dye
-
Step 3
then wash your hair, don't condition it
-
Step 4
tousle dry with a tower, so its a bit damp
now apply the dye
-
Step 5
then wrap your head with a plastic bag or plastic wrap
wait 20 min up to two hours
the longer the better, makes its stronger in colour.
-
Step 6
now rinse the henna out and towel dry
The longer you keep it in, the more intense/red the color.
I've only recently heard about using Henna to dye hair red. I'd love to do this, but am slightly on the cautious side.
I haven't dyed my hair for months now, perhaps over a year and I'm sick of the crappyness of normal hair dye, doesn't make my hair that red.
I have VERY dark brown hair, do you think Henna will work?
TO MAKE henna hair dye, you mix henna with an acid (like orange juice). But, in the instructions she said that she bought Henna Hairdye, which I don't think needs to be mixed with anything... since it's already a hair dye
